San Jose dB, Tibiao holds first joint SAR exercise

San Jose de Buenavista and Tibiao held the first inter-municipality search and rescue exercise in the Province of Antique.

The Tibiao Rescue Team held a refresher drill and simulation on high angle and wilderness rescue and invited San Jose de Buenavista for a joint exercise.

San Jose de Buenavista personnel trained high angle rescue  shared their knowledge and skills to those of Tibiao.

Thru this joint exercise, friendship and camaraderie among the operatives in the emergency service was fostered.

It was also an opportunity to build network, strengthen partnership and share of resources among organization.

Tibiao recently launched the Tibiao Eco-Adventure (TEA Park) which offers activities that could help enhance emergency response skills while San Jose de Buenavista was recently awarded the Best Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council in the Philippines for 1st-3rd class Municipality.
