San Jose de Buenvista recently received the following awards:
1. Apolinario Mabini 2013 Local Government Unity of the Year Award for rendering exceptional services to a significant number of citizens
with disabilities within its jurisdiction in the last two years.
2. Sandugo Award from Red Cross (for efforts on voluntary blood donation).
3. Best Police Station (Municipal Category)
